procyclingtours was created in 2010 to service an identified gap in the cyclo tourism market - focusing on the riding while making you feel like a pro both on and off the bike. Each year we present a number of fantastic cycling holidays with intimate group sizes that ensure the focus is on you as an individual. The intimate group sizes allow for greater flixibility each day to make sure you gain the ultimate experience, feel a great sense of achievement and most importantly have an absolute ball! every procyclingtours tour is led by ex-professional cyclist and owner of procyclingskills.com, Steve Cunningham, who knows exactly what’s required to get the best out of you, while our support staff headed by Michelle, ensures all you need to focus on is enjoying the ride, the scenery, the culture and the cuisine. We offer services unrivalled by others including free WI-FI, laundry service, international phones, SRM Power Meters on our BMC hire bikes, premium accommodation and cuisine and so much more. And unlike some operators, we welcome and indeed encourage partners to come along, who either ride a little or not at all, with our unique chaperone support, there’s so much to see and do!  procyclingtours consistently delivers the best cycling holidays in the business, working in locations such as France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and Australia. We offer premium tours to the Giro d’Italia, Tour de France, Tour Down Under, Criterium du Dauphine as well as operate many tours not connected with a cycling race as well as bespoke tours.

About Steve

Having raced on the professional circuit through Europe, America, Asia and Australia, Steve’s career highlights included competing on 5 occasions for the UniSA National Team at the Santos Tour Down Under (2001 - 2005), winning the Australian National Sprint Title twice as well as winning a stage at the Jayco Herald Sun Tour. Throughout his semi-pro career, Steve continued in senior management positions in the finance sector. In 2007 he went about creating one of the first Australian UCI Continental Team, Savings & Loans Cycling Team. The team enjoyed much success and included some of the very best Australian-based riders. His knowledge and experience both in business and cycling was instrumental in creating procyclingtours, where he and Michelle  work tirelessly on on the business and strive for perfection. Steve continues to compete in a number of cycling events, his most recent achievement - Line Honours at the gruelling Scody 3 Peaks Challenge (235km 4500m) 2 years in a row (2013 & 2014). An event recognised in the Top 10 toughest 1 day rides in the world. Steve delivers skills coaching sessions through procyclingskills.com and also enjoys emparting with his knowledge on each tour to make sure clients get the best out of thier riding experience.

About Michelle

A former manager and professional soigneur for the Savings & Loans Cycling Team, Michelle knows the importance of looking after a team of demanding athletes. Together with her HR management background, Michelle always adopts a first class approach when looking after clients’ unique needs,  ensuring people return home with not only more miles in their legs but unforgettable memories from a fantastic holiday. After sitting on the sidelines for many years, Michelle has more recently taken up the ‘sport’ and now appreciates the addiction to cycling. In 18 months, she has conquered some of the most amazing climbs in France, Italy and spain demonstrating that anyone with a drive to get to the top can climb anything.

Guiding with passion

About Ed

Ed is a very friendly, happy, easy going guide with several years experience guiding in Italy, Spain, France, Belgium & the UK. Having led tours on everything from winter training camps, the spring classics, grand tours & celebrity charity events Ed brings extensive knowledge of European cycling with him and has a particular passion for anything involving the epic Mont Ventoux which he regards as arguably the best climb in the Alps (you be the judge). Back home in the UK, Ed runs a successful personal training & sports massage business over winter dealing with gym-junkies, celebrites & professional athletes on a daily basis. He has spent most of his life on two-wheels starting out racing BMX before moving on to mountain bikes and onto road cycling. Ed has a real passion for helping people regardless of age, ability or background to get the most out of each & every trip that he is involved with, looks forward to sharing a story or three and welcoming you to you next procyclingtours holiday.

About Vincent

About Vincent

Vincent has worked as a senior guide for many years throughout Spain, Italy and his native France. He has the perfect temperament for guiding as well as being very handy on the bike, he also speaks three languages.
Vincent worked in Australia a few years ago at Sydney's Centennial Park Cycles where he learnt the finer points of Aussie life. He now lives back home in Burgundy, France. Two years ago he took over his parents vineyard in Beaujolais and intends to build a family home and grow Gamay grapes for the production of Beaujolais. Already producing some of the best grapes in the region, we delight in introducing you to his fantastic wine on tour. A very talented bike rider, Vincent raced on the Amatuer scene in France when he was young and with much success and remains in close contact with some of the french pros who pursued the sport. Vincent also enjoys keeping fit by running cross country marathons, including an epic annual run of no less than 92km up and around the mighty Col du Galibier!

Enriching your cultural experience

About Anne

Anne has been a primary school teacher for 2 years and before that worked in the sports industry. Since Anne was young she has been active and loves hiking, long distance running, cycling and skiing and has coordinated a number of large marathon events through her home region of Bourgogne. Along with Vincent, they have travelled by bike around New Zealand and South America and has ventured many times outside her home country of France to countries including India, Tibet, Africa, Australia.  Highly organised and possessing fine attention to detail, Anne ensures your holiday experience as a rider or non rider is a truly memorable one.

About Diego

Sharing his passion with a smile

About Diego

Our Italian whippet, Diego is a dedicated and experienced guide. His passion for his home country and sharing its many highlights with clients is infectious and second to none. Coming from the Piedmont region, Diego has over 15 years involvement riding in Granfondos and Randonees in both Italy and abroad.  A family man, he has great passion for the Spring Classics, and enjoys riding many of the big climbs in the Alpes of both the Giro and the Tour de France. As well as enjoying sharing his enjoyment of his home region, Diego also has extensive knowledge of other wonderful cycling areas including the Aosta Valley, Lombardy, Tuscany, the Riviera and Cote d’Azur.
